Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch

We go to the ring and out comes Sasha Banks by herself. Becky Lynch is out next after a look at the Royal Rumble last night.

They have words before going at it. Sasha gets knocked to the apron but turns it around coming back in. Sasha stomps away in the corner. Sasha works Becky over and lands a big slap for a 2 count. Becky fights out of a hold and rolls Sasha up for 2. Becky with strikes and clotheslines now. Becky with a side kick. Becky charges in the corner with a big right hand. Becky with an exploder suplex for a 2 count.

Sasha sends Becky face first into the corner and takes control. Sasha with a 2 count. More back and forth until Sasha hits the Banks Statement. WWE Divas Champion Charlotte hits the ring for the bell.

– After the bell, Charlotte unloads on Becky and beats her around. Sasha comes back up and goes at it with Charlotte. Charlotte counters and leaves Sasha laying. Charlotte raises her title as fans boo and her music hits. Becky and Sasha are left laid out on the mat.

WWE Divas champion Charlotte (with Ric Flair) vs. Becky Lynch

They went right at each other. Lynch had a nice intensity wanting to fight with a serious look on her face before the bell. Lynch went right for the Disarmor but Charlotte grabbed the ropes. Lynch nailed a series of deep armdrags into an armbar. The crowd was chanting for Lynch.

Charlotte was sent to the floor and then kicked off the apron. It’s been all Lynch early on. Charlotte hid behind her father but this time, Lynch knew what she was doing and clotheslined her. Ric grabbed Becky and kissed her to distract Lynch. That allowed Charlotte to attack her from behind. That was pretty damn funny as a role reversal of the type of things Sherri Martel used to do to men but not so sure that will play well with fans in 2016.

Charlotte nailed a big suplex for a two count. Charlotte controlled Lynch and drilled her with a series of knees to the mid-section. Charlotte locked her in the head scissors around the neck, then turned her over to drill Lynch’s face into the mat over and over. She controlled Lynch on the mat. They had some really good sequences. Best main roster Divas match in awhile.

Charlotte They went back and forth until Charlotte nailed a BIG powerbomb for a two count. Charlotte went for a sliding kick but Lynch moves and Flair gets nailed. Lynch rolled up Charlotte for a two count. She locked on the Disarmor but Flair throws his jacket on Lynch, covering her face. That forced Lynch to release the hold. Charlotte speared Lynch and scored the pin.

Your winner and still WWE Divas champion, Charlotte!

After the match, Charlotte attacked her and slammed Lynch into the mat and began beating on her.

Charlotte’s arm was raised and out came Sasha Banks, who got a MASSIVE pop. Sasha took off her bling and acred as if she was going to face off with Charlotte but then kicked Lynch (who was being helped up) out of the ring. She told Lynch it was “her spotlight.” She beckoned to Charlotte as if they were back together and even played off their time as friends in NXT. Charlotte went to leave but Banks attacked her and put her in the Bank Statement. She took the Divas championship and held the title up.

Becky Lynch vs. Alicia Fox

Charlotte and Flair are on commentary. Fox runs her over to start and takes Becky to the floor for a kick to the chest. For some reason Alicia grabs a northern lights suplex on the floor and holds the bridge for a count that is never coming. Back in and Becky starts her clotheslines comeback until Fox knees her in the face. Not that it matters as Becky reverses a slam into the Disarm-Her for the tap

– We go back to the ring and out comes Ric Flair with WWE Divas Champion Charlotte. They take a seat at ringside. Back to commercial.

Tamina Snuka vs. Becky Lynch

Back from the break and out comes Naomi with Tamina Snuka to the new Team BAD theme song. We see Charlotte and Flair looking on from ringside as well. Becky Lynch is out next. She points at the Divas Title and gets laughed at by the Flairs. Tamina and Becky lock up but break. Fans chant for Sasha Banks. Becky unloads with kicks and strikes on Tamina. Tamina blocks her and rams her into the corner. Tamina with a big kick to the face. Tamina stomps in the corner now.

Tamina with a headlock now. Tamina keeps control and covers for another 2 count. Becky tries to fight back but Tamina clubs her from behind. Becky with a roll up for a 2 count. Becky finally fights back to a pop. Becky with big strikes in the corner and a dropkick. Becky with a pair of leg drops for a 2 count. Tamina runs into an elbow. Becky applies the Dis-arm-her from out of the corner for the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch

– After the match, Becky takes the mic and says nothing would mean more to her than winning the Divas Title on Sunday. She asks Charlotte for an answer and fans get hype. Charlotte grabs a mic at ringside and says she’s not going to hand Becky a title shot because fans are chanting. She says Charlotte already earned a title match and lost it. She tells Becky to get in the back of the line. Becky says Flair never backed down from a challenge but the apple must have fallen from the tree. Or maybe Flair has become a coward in his old age like his daughter. Flair asks Becky what did she just say. Flair says Charlotte already beat Becky twice and she will do it again on Sunday. Flair starts “whoooing” all over the place but Charlotte doesn’t look happy.
