WWE SmackDown Women’s Title Match: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

Lynch came out aggressive as she attacked her right out of the gate and it turned into a brawl. Lynch caught her with a big boot and a kick to the back. Lynch throw her from the ring to the floor hard and then into the ring post before going back into the ring. Flair fought back with strikes and landed a back suplex to get some momentum going. Flair with a back kick then a series of chops to the chest of the champ. Lynch with a back kick then went for a suplex but Flair blocked it. Flair with a suplex of her own.

Lynch sent her head first into the turnbuckle and a forearm shot off the middle rope. Flair took her down and went for the figure four submission but Lynch blocked and allowed Flair to catch her with a big boot for 2. Lynch went for a roll up but Flair got out of it. They battled back and forth with right hands. Lynch got the better of it until Flair hit a spear for 2. Flair went to the top rope and went for a moonsault but Lynch put the knees up and rolled her up for 2. Lynch with a head kick and went to the top rope but missed a leg drop.

Flair with a big boot and locked in the boston crab but Lynch got to the bottom ropes. Lynch grabbed her title and started walking but Flair stopped her by tackling her. Back in the ring, Lynch kicked her but Flair hit a spear then went for the Figure Four Leg Lock. However, Lynch grabbed the title and hit Flair with it several times to cause the DQ.

Winner: Flair by DQ

Post-match, Flair attacked Lynch until Lynch hit her with a clothesline outside of the ring and hit a suplex.

We are back and WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring.

Becky says six weeks ago she stopped waiting and started taking. Since that night in Brooklyn, she has been the best thing about Smackdown. Since she ran through the entire locker room and toppled the Queen, she runs this division. It is the most relevant thing in WWE. She learned that being kind and being patient gets you nothing but stabbed in the back and treated like a fool. Not no more. She is relentless. She strikes first.

We take a look at what has happened since SummerSlam between Becky and Charlotte.

Becky asks if that was nice and she says she could watch that all day. Time and time again, she has proven that she has owned Charlotte Flair. The more they change, the more they stay the same. Where is her magazine cover? Where is the action figure with her holding the title belt? She has to see the person she beat doing media events. She will prove it is this face that belongs on the magazines and posters. If they won’t do it for her, she will do it herself.

Becky says she designed a new poster for Super Show Down, and Becky reveals it.

Charlotte Flair’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.

Becky with punches to Charlotte and she kicks Charlotte. Charlotte with a spear. Charlotte with a fallaway slam through the poster and then Charlotte applies the figure four leg lock and lays down on the apron to add more pressure. Charlotte with a kick to the head.

Match Number Two: Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles versus Jimmy Uso and Naomi

AJ and Jimmy start things off and they lock up. Jimmy with a side head lock. Jimmy with a shoulder tackle but AJ with a hip toss. Jimmy with an arm drag and AJ with an arm drag of his own. AJ wants a test of strength and then they both go for kicks but they block the kicks. They tell each other to put their foot down and they agree to do it together. They shake hands and go to make the tag but they won’t let go.

Jimmy tells AJ to tag and AJ tells Jimmy to tag. AJ tags first so that means the women are involved in the match. They lock up and Naomi with a wrist lock. Charlotte with a reversal and arm wringer. Charlotte trips Naomi and kicks Naomi. Charlotte does a little dancing to mock Naomi. Jimmy talks some strategy with his wife. They fist bump before locking up again and Naomi with a side head lock. Naomi with a sunset flip for a near fall. Naomi with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Both go for kicks and they block them. They discuss puttin gtheir legs down and they do it but Naomi goes for a clothesline and Charlotte with a rollup for a near fall.

Naomi with a split leg drop for a near fall. Naomi with a baseball slide to send Charlotte to the floor. AJ checks on Charlotte and Naomi goes for a pescado but AJ catches her. Jimmy and AJ argue about AJ catching JImmy’s wife. Charlotte with a pescado onto Naomi and Jimmy. Naomi with a round kick from the apron followed by a clothesline for a near fall. Charlotte with chops but Naomi with a double boot to the head. Naomi with a sliding slap to Charlotte while Jimmy puts on Naomi’s cat ears. Naomi misses a split legged moonsault when Charlote moves. Charlotte with a moonsault for a near fall.

Stuff is going on in the ring while we see R Truth and Carmella in the back. Naomi makes the tg and AJ with a forearm off Charlotte’s back. AJ with a flying clothesline into the corner followed by an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. AJ sets for a Styles Clash but Jimmy counters into a Samoan drop. Jimmy has a kick blocked but he hits a dragon whip. AJ with a Pele kick. Naomi ags in and Naomi with an assisted rana. Charlotte with a figure four on Jimmy but Naomi goes up top and hits a frog splash and gets a near fall when AJ breaks up the cover.

Naomi with rear view to AJ but Charlotte with a boot to Naomi and then she applies the figure four and bridges. Naomi taps out.

Winners: Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles

Next week, Miz and Asuka face R Truth and Carmella.

We are back and Paige is in the ring with the celebration table and carpet in the ring. Paige introduces the new Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. We see photos of the match as Becky makes her way to the ring.

Paige presents Becky the title belt that she walked out of the ring with on Sunday night.

Becky says this is nice and it took two long years but she is back where she belongs. Becky says this is her show and this is her title. There will be no more being left off the magazines, pay per view posters, or the morning talk shows. Becky says she doesn’t need balloons or the division she built around the ring. All she needs is Charlotte Flair. Becky asks if Charlotte isn’t out here because she doesn’t want to steal her spotlight for a change.

Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring.

Paige tells Charlotte and Becky that they are not going to do anything tonight.

Charlotte says she is not here to fight. Charlotte says she is not here to steal Becky’s spotlight. She says she is here to show the respect that Becky could not give to her at SummerSlam. Charlotte says she wants to look Becky woman to woman to tell Becky she was the better woman on Sunday. You paid a steep price to win that title. You threw away more than a friendship. She says she cannot wait to stand across the ring from you in front of 60,000 people when she gets her rematch in Australia. You took two years to get that title back but you could lose it in one night.

Becky tells Charlotte she stopped listening. Becky says that you said she could not win, but this title says otherwise. This title says that you did not walk out of Hell in a Cell as champion. Becky says she knew that Charlotte was trying to steal the spotlight on the biggest night of her career. Becky says that Charlotte can touch her and raise her hand tonight.

Charlotte says she is not going to do that.

Becky says that Charlotte can put the title around her waist.

Charlotte says she wanted to show Becky respect but she was hoping for a little bit of what Becky was inside her. Charlotte congratulates Becky sarcastically.

Becky says that she just wants Charlotte to call her queen. Becky calls Charlotte a bitch and Charlotte attacks Becky.

They go to the floor and Charlotte is sent into the ring steps and then over the announce table. Becky sends Charlotte into the ringside barrier and then they go back into the ring.
