Match Number Four: Charlotte Flair versus Becky Lynch versus Carmella in a Number One Contender Match

Becky tells Charlotte to bring it but Charlotte wooos instead. Carmella sends Becky to the mat and Charlotte goes for a slam on Carmella but Carmella gets to her feet and she gets a near fall with a rolup. Becky with a European uppercut to Charlotte followed by a back heel kick to Carmella. Becky kicks Charlotte to the floor and then hits a forearm off the apron to Carmella and follows with a clothesline to Charlotte.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Charlotte with a shoulder from the apron and she drops Becky on the top rope. Charlotte goes up top and Becky with a forearm and press slam onto Carmella. Becky drop kicks Charlotte and hits a back senton onto Carmella and Becky gets a near fall. Charlotte with chops and Becky with forearms while Carmella watches from the floor. Charlotte with the advantage but Becky with a Thesz Press and punches. Charlotte with punches to Becky but Carmella kicks Charlotte. Carmella with a Flatliner to Becky and Charlotte goes for the figure four but Carmella counters into Code of Silence.

Charlotte gets Carmella up but Carmella with a victory roll for a near fall. Carmella with a jaw breaker and Becky with a missile drop kick to Carmella. Charlotte with a fallaway slam into the turnbuckles. Charlotte with a back breaker and boot to Carmella. Charlotte puts Becky next to Carmella and sets for a moonsault onto both. Becky gets up and Charlotte kicks Becky and Charlotte with a moonsault onto both and she gets a near fall on Becky and then Carmella.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Becky and Charlotte fight on the turnbuckles. Becky goes for a superplex but Charlotte blocks it and Carmella pulls Becky off the turnbuckles. Carmella with a handstandcanrana attempt but Charlotte blocks it. Carmella with a Frankensteiner for a near fall. Carmella kicks Charlotte to the floor and then she kicks Becky off the apron. Carmella with a suicide dive onto Becky. Charlotte goes for a moonsault to the floor and Carmella and Becky move. Becky with an exploder to Carmella on the floor. Becky kicks Carmella against the ringside barrier.

Charlotte kicks Becky off the apron and Carmella with a rollup on Charlotte. Charlotte with Natural Selection on Becky as Becky tries for DisArmHer on Carmella. Carmella with a super kick and she gets a near fall on Becky. Charlotte breaks up the cover. Carmella slaps Charlotte and then connects with forearms. Charlotte slaps Carmella and then applies the figure four leg lock and Charlotte bridges. Becky with a leg drop off the turnbuckles to Charlotte and Becky gets a near fall. Becky with DisArmHer on Charlotte but Carmella with a super kick. Carmella sends Charlotte to the floor.

Becky blocks a suplex from Carmella and Charlotte with a spear on Becky. Carmella with a super kick to Charlotte and Becky with DisArmHer on Carmella and Carmella taps out.

Winner: Becky Lynch

After the match, Smackdown Women’s Champion Asuka makes her way to the ring.

Asuka and Becky exchange some words.

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Carmella all staked their claims as to why they would be most deserving to face off against SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka at Royal Rumble last week. All three Superstars will now get their chance as they’ll square off in a Triple Threat Match this Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE and the winner will move on to face Asuka for the title in Phoenix, Arizona on Jan. 27.

Charlotte and Becky both feel that they should be SmackDown Women’s Champion at this present moment and only are not because of Ronda Rousey’s interference in their match against Asuka at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. Carmella, who reigned as SmackDown Women’s Champion for a staggering 130 days in 2018, has multiple victories over Flair, Lynch and Asuka, and believes that puts her right in line for another title opportunity.

All of this has been taken under consideration by the McMahon family, and now the three top challengers will collide this Tuesday night on the blue brand to prove who is most ready for Asuka next. Who will prevail? Find out this Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE at 8/7 C on USA Network.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka in a TLC Match.

Huge chants for Becky before she even made it to the ring.

Flair and Becky began arguing and the Champ shoved Flair. Asuka dropkicked Lynch and took the fight to Flair. Asuka nailed hip attacks on each in the corner. Lynch cut her off and shoved her into the buckles. Lynch nailed an exploder. Flair knocked her out of the ring.

Asuka and Flair each brought ladders into the ring, but Flair blasted Asuka and then kicked a table Lynch was bringing into the ring into the Champ. Flair set up the table in the corner and beat Asuka into it over and over. Behind her, Lynch set up a ladder in the center of the ring. Flair nailed her but Asuka caught her with an inverted Codebreaker.

Lynch tried to shove a ladder down on Asuka, who avoided it. They battled in the corner and Lynch was slammed off the top onto the ladder laying on the mat. Ouch. Asuka set up the ladder. She and Flair each battled the other as they tried to ascend the ladder. Asuka came underneath Flair and powerbombed her in the corner low into a table that was propped up there. Asuka started climbing but Becky hit a missile dropkick on her, knocking her off the ladder. Becky began climbing but Asuka attacked her and used a hip attack to knock her to the floor. Flair nailed Lynch with a chair on the floor.

Flair went for a moonsault to the floor on both, although the camera angle revealed she hardly hit either. Flair went for a table and set it up outside the ring. Lynch nailed her and laid waste to both challengers with the chair over and over. Flair nailed her and sent Lynch hard into the barricade, then began setting up the German announcers’ table for destruction. She slammed Asuka onto the table but Lynch nailed her in the back with a chair.

Lynch placed Flair on the table next to her, climbed a ladder and came off with an Alabama Jam legdrop. Asuka rolled out of the ring but Lynch came directly down with her full weight crashing down on Flair’s mid-section. Flair looked like she had been shot with a machine gun and officials began checking on her. The crowd chanted, “This is awesome.” Asuka rolled into the ring and tried to climb up the ladder but Lynch gave chase and met her at the top. They battled back and forth. Asuka tried reach the belt but Lynch stopped her and vice versa. Flair returned to the ring and began beating the hell out of each of them with the Singapore Cane, swinging it with full force. Flair was holding her ribs and mid-section.

Flair began climbing the ladder but saw Asuka getting back on the apron and returned to beating her to death. Lynch caught Charlotte with an exploder that had she had no business even trying to hit due to the lack of room and drove Flair into a table propped up against the barricade. Asuka began beating the holy hell out of Lynch with the cane but Charlotte speared her through the barricade into the timekeeper’s area.

Lynch returned to the ring but Flair stopped her from climbing the ladder. They went nose to nose and began slugging it out with chops and punches. Lynch sent her into the ladder face-first. Flair went to rise up to fight Lynch but was hit with a Thesz Press. They battled to the floor and began chopping and slugging each other. Flair tackled her backwards into another announcers’ table. Flair placed Lynch on a table and slapped her hard. Flair climbed up on the ropes and hit a swanton onto Lynch, smashing her through the table.

Flair made it to the top of the ladder, only to be met by the returning Asuka. They battled back and forth. It was awesome. Becky set up a ladder next to them. Asuka was knocked down to the ring. Now Lynch met her at the top and they battled. As all this was going on, out came Ronda Rousey, no music, to ringside. She got in the ring and tipped the ladder over on them and walked out, getting booed for her interference. So, she got one back on Lynch and Flaiur.

Asuka recovered and climbed to the top and retrieved the title.

Your winner and new WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion, Asuka!

They saved the best for last. This was absolutely phenomenal. Truly worth going out of your way to see.

We are in Austin, Texas and your announcers are Corey Graves, Tom Phillips, and Byron Saxton.

Paige is in the ring with the official contract signing carpet and table. Around the ring are some tables, ladders, and chairs.

Paige says that Smackdown is not just the land of opportunity, it is the place where history is made. Paige says she is honored to sanction the TLC match for the Smackdown Women’s Title and it is not a normal TLC match, it is a Triple Threat Match.

Paige brings out Asuka first. Out next is Charlotte Flair. The final person to come out is the Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Becky starts off the talking and she talks about history. It must be a Tuesday because the Man makes history every time she walks into the ring. She will do the exact same thing at TLC. Being put through a table or having a chair hit her in the back or being crushed by a ladder is nothing compared to where she came from. Becky says she does not care how you got into this match and she will do whatever it takes to win.

Charlotte tells Becky to change the song because it is the same one every week. She is given the opportunity? Spin it however you want. Charlotte says she picked up the ball that Becky dropped at Survivor Series and destroyed Ronda with one kendo stick. Charlotte says it took one punch by Nia to break your face. Charlotte tells Becky to imagine what she will do with tables, ladders, and chairs.

Asuka stops Becky and Charlotte and she tells Charlotte that Becky already you, but Becky never beat her. Asuka says you chose wrong at Survivor Series. She would have beaten Ronda. At TLC, she will beat Becky.

Charlotte asks Asuka if she was going to beat Ronda Rousey. Charlotte reminds Asuka that she beat her at Wrestlemania and broke her streak.

Asuka says that Charlotte got lucky one time.

Becky says the truth is none of you can beat Ronda Rousey and neither of you can beat her.

Becky signs the contract and leaves the ring.

Charlotte asks Paige if she is going to let the champ leave. Charlotte says that Becky is all talk these days. She will beat Becky and Asuka again.

Asuka says something in Japanese.

Charlotte tells Asuka she shattered the mystique at Wrestlemania and she will finish Asuka at TLC.

Paige has Charlotte sign the contract.

Asuka offers to break Charlotte right now.

Mandy Rose comes out with Sonya Deville. Manyd asks if this is how you want to make history? With these two women? These undeserving women? What about the two women you groomed for stardom in the WWE? Mandy reminds Charlotte she lost at Survivor Series.

Sonya says it was a fluke that Asuka won last week. Sonya says she made one tiny mistake. Sonya promises that won’t happen again.

Mandy says if you want to see fire and desire, you are looking at it Baby Girl. Mandy asks what happens if Asuka and Charlotte don’t make it to TLC?

Paige suggests that they have a tag match.

Match Number One: Charlotte Flair and Asuka versus Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

Asuka and Sonya start things off and they avoid each other as they go for the legs. Sonya with a front face lock but Asuka with a waist lock. Sonya with a standing switch. Asuka with a wrist lock and Sonya with a reversal. Asuka with another reversal. Sonya with a shoulder tackle and Asuka does not move. Sonya with a side head lock. Sonya and Asuka miss round kicks and Asuka with an arm bar. Sonya with a knee and Mandy tags in. They double team Asuka with kicks and knees. Mandy gets a near fall.

Mandy pie faces Asuka and Asuka with strikes to Mandy. Asuka goes for the pop up knee but Mandy blocks it and hits a forearm. Asuka with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Asuka taunts Sonya on the apron and Charlotte tags in. Charlotte with a snap mare and kick to the back. Charlotte with an Irish whip but Mandy with an elbow. Mandy escapes a slam attempt and Charlotte is sent into the turnbuckles. Charlotte with a fallaway slam to Mandy and a kick to Sonya followed by a fallaway slam. Charlotte with a pescado onto Mandy and Sonya. Charlotte struts.

Becky Lynch walks out to watch the match.

Charlotte gets a near fall on Mandy. Asuka tags in and she kicks Mandy in the leg. Asuka with knees to the midsection and a snap mare. Asuka with a kick to the back and she hits a sliding kick after pointing at Beck. Asuka gets a near fall and she goes for the Asuka Lock but Mandy escapes. Sonya with a spear after Mandy misses a kick. Sonya gets a near fall. Sonya with a knee to the head and she applies a reverse chin lock and body scissors.

Asuka leans back and gets a near fall. Sonya with a kick and she kicks Asuka in the corner while Charlotte takes the attention of the referee. Mandy tags in and chokes Asuka in the ropes and Sonya with a knee from the apron. Mandy tags in and applies an abdominal stretch. Mandy with a gutwrench suplex and she slams Asuka’s head into the mat and gets a near fall. Sonya tags in and they kick Asuka. Sonya with knees to the midsection followed by a snap mare and sliding knee for a near fall.

Mandy tags in and Asuka with punches. Mandy with a jumping knee and she gets a near fall. Mandy puts Asuka in the turnbuckles and tags in Sonya. Sonya with punches and she chokes Asuka in the corner. Mandy tags back in and Asuka punches Mandy. Mandy with a clothesline and she goes for a wheelbarrow move but Asuka counters into a bulldog. Charlotte tags in and she clotheslines Sonya and knocks Mandy off the apron. Charlotte with chops and a belly-to-back suplex. Charlotte with a spear to Sonya and Mandy is sent to the floor.

Mandy pulls Asuka off the apron and Charlotte with a punch and Asuka pulls Mandy off the apron. Charlotte kicks Asuka off the apron by accident and Sonya with a rollup but Charlotte rolls through. Asuka with a kick to Charlotte and Sonya gets the three count.

Winners: Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose
