Television Captures | WWE.Com Digitals

After Bayley won her match against Sasha Banks, Renee Young asked her about her upcoming title shot against Charlotte. She said that it’s what she has been working for since a child. Bayley then compares herself to the little kitten poster wher he’s hanging on a tree and says “Hang In There” and that at Takeover, she will get the Women’s Championship.

This cues Charlotte to come out to the ring. She tells Bayley to look at the tears in her eyes and that she clearly cannot handle the responsibility of being Women’s Champion. Charlotte tells the crowd to shut up when she’s talking and proceeds to tell Bayley that she is too nice. She says that if she saw a kitten in a tree, she would knock it down and say, “Oops, life’s tough- welcome to reality!” She tells Bayley to give up before she embarrasses herself.

Bayley tries to interrupt but Charlotte asks the crowd “Are you going to let her talk?!” Bayley says that Charlotte isn’t taking her seriously as a threat and that she’s coming after her for her championship. Charlotte warns Bayley to stick to hugs before she destroys her. Bayley rebuttals by saying she isn’t going anywhere and that she doesn’t want any hugs. She extends her hand and wishes Charlotte good luck. Charlotte stares her down and walks away.

NXT Women’s Title Match at Takeover 2

Published by:
  2014/08/22

On last night’s episode of NXT, it was announced on commentary that Charlotte will be defending her NXT Women’s Title at the upcoming NXT Takeover 2. With Bayley becoming number 1 contender on last week’s episode, it seems as if Bayley will redeem her shot at the title when NXT goes live on the WWE Network on September 11th. Considering the history between Bayley & Charlotte, this is sure to be an intriguing match.

Here is the preview from WWE.Com:

From WWE superfan to No. 1 Contender, Bayley is ready to prove she’s more than just a hug-loving, friendly face in the NXT Divas division. She will challenge the no-nonsense former BFF Charlotte for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover on Sept. 11.

Bayley earned one of her biggest victories to date on the Aug. 7 edition of NXT over WWE Diva Eva Marie. After hitting the Belly-to-Bayley Suplex and pinning the “Total Diva,” Bayley said she’s climbing her way to the top of the NXT Divas division. (After all, Bayley has pinned Charlotte in NXT Divas tag team action.) Her victory over Eva Marie didn’t go unnoticed by Charlotte, who wasted no time intimidating Bayley, boldly demanding that her name is never to come out of Bayley’s mouth.

The following week on NXT, Bayley won a No. 1 Contender’s Match, defeating Charlotte’s former BFF Sasha Banks with the Belly-to-Bayley Suplex. Charlotte resorted to her intimidation tactics again, proudly holding up the NXT Women’s Title, sending a clear message to Bayley that she’s not backing down from her Takeover challenge. Then on the Aug. 28 edition of NXT, after Bayley defeated Sasha for a second time, Charlotte got in the ring and refused to shake her Takeover challenger’s hand, stating: “I warned you!”

Charlotte has dominated the NXT Women’s division since her groundbreaking win over former WWE Divas Champion Natalya at NXT Takeover this past May. The daughter of “Nature Boy” Ric Flair has carved her own path, having broken free from her former BFFs Sasha and Summer Rae. Charlotte even allowed “The Boss” Sasha to be attacked by Bayley, and successfully defended her NXT Women’s Title against Summer when the dancing Diva returned to NXT.

Will Charlotte sustain her rule over the NXT Divas division and make Bayley “Bow Down to the Queen” at NXT Takeover? Or will the headband-wearing, pogo-sticking California girl lead the NXT Divas into a more lighthearted era? Watch every NXT Title, including the NXT Women’s Championship, be defended NXT Takeover on Sept. 11, LIVE and only on WWE Network — now available in more than 170 countries around the world!
